Is there a way to automatically mark orders as complete in Retail?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Automatically close orders in Retail.

 

Would like to close all orders as complete. We use an online Square link to pay for events and merchandise sales. We also have Amaka integration to syncronise with Xero.

Amaka requires all online orders to be closed out to make the integration sytem work properly

Thanks for reaching out, @curlym!

While we don’t have a way to automatically mark orders as complete, you can take bulk actions on multiple orders at once to make sure all of your orders are marked as complete.

To do so from your online Square Dashboard:

  1. Go to Items & orders > Orders.
  2. Click Edit Orders.
  3. Tick the box at the top of the Orders list to select all Orders.
  4. Click Mark as complete.
  5. Click Done editing.


You can also complete this action from the Square for Retail App:

  1. Go to ≡ MoreOrders.
  2. Click Actions > Mark as Complete.
  3. Tick the box at the top of the Orders list to select all Orders.
  4. Click Mark orders as complete.
