Is there a new feature allowing bar tabs?

I’ve seen some things about a feature added called bar tabs allowing you to set up pre authorisation for bar tabs. Has anyone used this feature yet?

Yes, Square does offer a bar tabs feature - but at the moment, it's only available to sellers in North America. If you're curious about how it works, you can check out the US Support Article here.

We understand how useful this feature would be for Australian sellers, and we’re actively working to expand access globally. While we don’t have a specific timeline to share just yet, please know that we’re continuing to advocate for its rollout in Australia.
