Is it possible to create an online discount coupon for a single item?

Hello,

I would like to drive my social media traffic to my website and wanted to offer a 30% coupon off of a single regular priced item. I would send this coupon to specific customers through email marketing with a specific code. 

When creating the coupon in the email marketing design section. I have the option of a single item however, it wants me to select that single specific item from my library. 

I want the customer to be able to use the coupon on a single regular priced item of their choosing. 

Is this possible? Or any suggestions that would have the same effect?

I'm going to leave a link below which gives us steps on how to create a discount code for the entire amount.  If you create the discount code this way then set the Promotion Code...it should work when you send out your email.  You would type up and mention to your buyers to "Use xuqit" code for xxx amount of discount.  Hopefully this helps 🙂
