Hello. I have a commercial kitchen which makes empanadas (baked good) for our three cafes. I am looking for a specific software program that would allow us to track ingredients and help us determine the cost per empanada (baked good). Does anyone know if there is a feature within Square or any other resource?

Hi @CafeBuenosAires. Currently there is no functionality for this in Square. As a small ice cream shop, I don’t need such things, but I’ve tried out (on a trial basis) Restoke, which is in the Square App Marketplace. There are others there, too. Just go to the Square App Marketplace and search for “Restaurant Inventory.” You’ll see apps like PeachWorks, which I hear is a good one, though a little pricey.

I would like to know how do we manage ingredients through Square.
Scenario:
- We have 1 liter of milk.
- Milkshake requires 500ml of milk.
- Latte requires 250ml of milk.
- We sell 1 milkshake and 1 latte, and would like the system to show that we have 250ml milk remaining.
