Until very recently, if a required modifier was all marked as "Sold Out" the system would automatically mark the parent item as Sold Out. It seems now that we have to go into the parent item which is a little more involved to mark that as sold out as well. Not as easy as just toggling off modifiers as the day goes on. This is a specific problem for how square interacts with our on-line ordering platforms. Example: We have "Muffins" listed as Item with Modifers: Blueberry, Chocolate, Bran...Both are being ordered online and in store so setting up an inventory manager would be more work. As the Muffins run out, we toggle off each selection, when the final selection was toggled off, the item would be marked as Sold Out because that Modifier is "Required". This is not longer the case. We now have to go into the parent item as well, scroll down to Manage Inventory. Hit save twice and then remember to turn that back on the next day. Feel like if a modifier is "Required" this attribute should stay.
