If I use Square KDS, Can the orders be organized by Pick up time and date. NOT ORDER TIME.

Im asking because I currently use appointments and it has a nice calendar view of "orders" but customers cannot pay online with appointments.  I need to accept online payments but to be able to see the orders chronologically by PICK UP day and time to keep me organized.  I was wondering if this kind of view was available with KDS.  If I can only see orders by date/time ordered Ill be a mess.

@Libbi Like all other KDS, Square’s lists tickets in the order received, with the oldest one being first.  This is because since there are primarily used in production kitchens and bars, that is usually the required order. Square KDS does have feature allowing you to prioritize orders, but I’m not sure this will accomplish what you want to do.

Of course, you are always welcome to submit a feature to request.  Square’s product team would review it and let you know their decision, which would serve to put your request into the roadmap of other requests if they agreed that it fits into their vision.  But, honestly, what you are asking for sounds like an entirely new software product, since it doesn’t sound like you’d be using it in a production kitchen.  The display would need to show different ticket information (like date/time of pickup), and other information.  Still, it is worth a try, because you might have stumbled upon a new use case that no one (including me) had ever imagined for Kitchen Display Systems — maybe a Retail Display System (RDS) or something!  Just be specific about what you are wanting to do, and why you can’t do this another way with Square’s current tools.
