How to set-up shipping info & let purchaser know we will need to get back to them on costs

Hello,

We are selling pottery and the cost depends on the item purchased and how our shipping company will be packaging the specific item. Is there a way to let this be known in the shipping area? And is there a way to collect the shipping costs from the purchaser at a later time?

I think the Shipping Policy section would be perfect for this! Navigate to the Square Online dashboard, then click Settings > Checkout > Store Policies. The information you enter here would then be displayed on each item page near the description. 

For the actual shipping charge, Square Invoices may be the best option for you since you won't be able to bill for shipping at the time of the item purchase. Find out more about Invoices here. 😊
