How do you make a device code for square restaurants because I don’t know

You can follow the steps below to create a Square for Restaurants device code:

1. Sign in to your online Square Dashboard and select Settings > Device management.
2. Click Points of sale > POS Devices.
3. Select Add a Point of Sale.
4. Enter a Nickname and select the Location for the device.
5. Select Restaurants POS as the device type and select your service style.
6. Select your preferred point of sale settings.
7. Once you configure all of your settings, click Create.
8. Your new device code will display on your screen. You can select Send device code to send yourself the code via email or text message, select Copy to copy the device code to your clipboard or write the device code down. You can then use this device code to sign in on your device.
9. Click Done.
10. You’ll then enter this device code on your Square Restaurants POS to sign in. For instructions specific to your device, check out Step 2 of this Support Centre article.
