You used to be able to schedule an order from the POS, and now you have to go to square online to do it. Is there a reason this happened? Its so much easier to schedule it right from the POS App and now I have to get out of the app, log in online to take an order over the phone and maintain the order in the order screen. Help?

I just checked in again with our Account Services team and they recommended the following: If you turn on Order Creation with Dining options enabled, the system will ask you to disable them. If you disable them from here, then this scheduling order option should be available (see screenshot below).

I went ahead and chatted with our Account Services team on this. They said that they looked over your account and they found that the "Dining" option is not enabled. This will need to be enabled to schedule orders through your POS App.

That unfortunately didn't bring back the "Schedule Order" button to my POS. I'm not scheduling a "payment". My situation is this:
I run a specialty store, all my items are custom made. So when someone wishes to order a cake and wishes to pay for it upfront, whether it be over the phone or in person, I can Ring them up and cash them out, but their order doesn't stay active in the "order" screen for later retrieval when a customer comes back to pick up their order. The Schedule option allowed a payment to be made, and the order to remain in the Orders screen to advance through "in progress", "ready" and "picked up", how the online platform works. I want to have that in my POS.
Also, it would be nice (even though it's not available) to schedule an order WITHOUT a payment. Right now I'm saving tickets, but I cannot put in a pick up date and time on them unless putting it in "notes", so my order screen is not chronological by pick up date (except for online orders), but for when I entered the order. So I'm asking if there is a way to schedule an order (with payment) like you used to be able to do from the checkout screen on the POS instead of having to log into the website to do it.
I understand, @CheesecakeLady! That was my mistake. Just now fixed that typo that this in deed about scheduling orders.
The directions that our Account Services team sent over did not fix the issue, correct?
No it didn't fix, it only added the type of order (pick up, take out, delivery, etc.) to each order.
