How do you edit a unit cost on a previous purchase?

On one of my products, the unit cost in my COGS is showing $9921 instead of $21.99. When I go to items and click unit cost it shows correctly as $21.99. It doesn’t have an add cost button under history. So how do I change it in COGS?
