Hey there @TheWeeScot.. So, currently, this is not functionality that Square KDS offers. The last time I checked, third party options like Fresh KDS did not offer it either, but that might have changed. Anyway, if that is a must-have for your operation, I'd recommend first that you head to the Square App Marketplace and check out third-party KDS apps.
Otherwise, you can go to the Ideate Board and submit a feature request to the KDS development team. It's a very interesting idea which, of course, would work best when all waitstaff have their own ordering devices -- something that I'm not sure a lot of restaurants would want to spend money on. But for those that would, it's definitely worthwhile. And it might be possible to figure out a non-intrusive way to do this on shared POS devices. Who knows?
