Go to your Square Online --- Item Library --- Choose the item on sale ---- Scroll down to the Variations Section. There you should see the Item price and next to that is the Sale Price box. Delete the amount that is listed in that box.
Hope that helps. Sometimes I think Square has a mind of it's own. Weird things like that have happened to me as well.
