@YellowRose2 Welcome to the community, Are you talking about updating the software on your reader? If so normally when you connect your reader to you iPad/phone and open the square app it will go out and check for an update. If there is an update it will install it. Usually at the top of the app there is yellow bar that says updating. That's how it shows up on our Square register.
