I have a paused my subscriptions for a month, but now I need to extend the pause for another month. My only choices in the dashboard for resuming are next billing cycle or immediately. If I resume immediately and then pause again they will be billed immediately, so that won't work. I tried the 'pause' endpoint in the API Explorer and changing 'resume_effective_date', but I get a "bad request" error:
The provided subscription `` must have a `ACTIVE` state to be paused.
Because it is currently in 'paused' state. Is there any way to do this?

Once a resume date has been set for a paused Square Subscription, it can’t be adjusted directly from your Square Dashboard.
However, our Support Team can update this for you after verifying your account details over the phone and keep the subscription paused until you’re ready to resume.
Alternatively, you can reach out to your Account Manager directly, who can also help ensure the subscription remains paused through your preferred date.
