Great questions! I've linked some useful resources from our Support Centre below that might be of interest to you. Feel free to read through to see if any of these options suit your needs. 😊

Laybuy Options

Dravenlocke87 is right. Currently, Square doesn't offer a built-in Laybuy feature. However, you can request deposits and schedule multiple payments over time using Square Invoices.

You also have the option to enable Afterpay on Square for Retail, which gives customers the option to pay for transactions in four instalments over six weeks. If you’re eligible, you can accept Afterpay payments between $1 to $2,000 in-store via your Square Retail POS app or on a Square Online website.

Additionally, customers can use Zip Pay's BNPL contactless payment instalment option, Tap and Zip, on Square hardware.

Gift Vouchers

Square offers both physical gift cards that can be sold in-store, and eGift cards, which can be sold in-store and online. Both options are available for sale on the Square for Retail POS app.

I hope this helps! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Hi LittleGnome66!

Square Retail doesn’t currently have a built-in layby (layaway) feature, but you can set up something similar with a bit of customization. Square supports partial payments, which you can use to set up a layby system. You can create an invoice for the total amount and allow your customers to make payments over time.
