We’re looking for a way to automate or customise our email confirmations in Square, depending on the item or event ticket purchased.
At the moment, a few days before each event, we manually go through every individual order, copy out each purchaser’s email address, and then send a bulk message from Outlook (our main address in “To:” and all recipients in BCC). This process is extremely time-consuming and is becoming quite daunting as our business scales and event bookings increase.
Ideally, we’d love to:
Send different confirmation or information emails automatically depending on the item purchased (e.g., different event details).
Or find a way to export or automate attendee email lists more efficiently to reduce the manual work.
Is there a feature, integration, or workaround that would make this process smoother? Perhaps using Square Marketing, automations, or a third-party integration?
Any guidance or suggestions would be hugely appreciated!

We don't have a feature that will allow you to send different emails to your customer automatically, based on the item purchased. However, there is a way to send additional info to your customers via email, when they purchase an item that is non-physical or of the digital item type. When customers purchase your non-physical items, you can manually email them with the details to redeem their purchase.
