Customizing Buy One Get One Deals

Right now I have automatic discount. For every 6 items 1 of the 6 is free but has people bulk buy

customers get free items all over there cart and it does not stay organized. Hoping this gets resolved soon. Is there a temporary solution to this?

Hi @Pkfood, welcome to the Square Community!

To make sure I have this correct, are you looking to limit the buy 6, get 1 offer? Could I get some clarity on what you are looking for a resolution on?

In the meantime, here are some steps to double-check that the offer is setup as intended:

1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard and go to Items & services (or Items & menus or Items & inventory) > Items > Discounts.
2. Click Create a Discount or select a discount to modify.
3. Enter the discount details — including the discount name, amount type (Amount, Percentage, Variable amount or Variable percentage), and applicable locations.
4. Toggle on/off Discount rules within the Automatic discount section.
5. Click Quantity > Done.
6. Add the required quantity and select the items or categories you want to include.
7. Click Add discount rule and select one of the three options (Exact quantity, Minimum quantity or Buy one, get one) > click Done.
8. Click Save.
