Changing reference number

Hi there, quite new to square. Wondering if it possible to change the reference code from 4-digit letters to numbers? That way we can use xxxx-1, xxxx-2 or something similar, for the sake of tracking our paper invoices/tracking which we also require.

Sorry if what I'm asking is unclear. Just trying to sequence receipts in a way that we can standardize reasonably using a simple, memorable method.

Hi there, welcome to Square. I'm not aware of any means to change the sequence. Sometimes the Square platforms between north America and the UK can be a little different on some of the functionality they offer, particularly when it comes to differences in regulatory compliance.
