Did you set up a Square Online Store and want to have your company name shown on the checkout page for that, or did you make a checkout link for an item through your Square account?

I have a Square Online Store that deals primarily B2B, and was looking to be able to add a section in the checkout where customers have the option to provide their company name along side their name and information

Ahh, ok. You could turn on the Note to Seller field for that in Settings > Checkout > Advanced. It's not the same as adding a dedicated field for that, but it would provide something that customers could add that to.

Hey. did you veer figure this out? Im B2B as well and it gets pretty confusing with just the persons name instead of the business name.

Have you considered adding a text-based modifier to your items online? 

This would prompt your customers to add additional information before adding the item to their cart, such as their company name. You can also set this up to be an optional or required field based on your needs.

The above option won't work if your customers are booking in for business services via Square Appointments, however. In that case, there is an 'Appointment notes' field that is optional to complete when customers are going through the checkout flow for online bookings.
