I use Square for restaurants and have online ordering and a self-order kiosk as well. I have certain items priced $2 each. I want to create an automatic discount of $1 when a customer buys 3 of these items (mix & match), so they will be $2 each or 3 for $5. I followed instructions at https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/3955-create-and-manage-discounts, but there is no way to set either the exact quantity or minimum quantity for the discount to something other than 1. The final step in their instructions is to choose whether you want the discount to apply when they buy an "exact quantity" or a "minimum quantity", but after that step there is no way to set what that exact or minimum quantity is. So it's automatically set to 1, and every item sold in the list I've indicated would be discounted $1. NOT what I want! Please advise if anyone has experience with this. Thanks.
Hi @mitos.. First, I'm in the final days of a business venue move. So it might take me a while to reply. Patience is appreciated. Now.... I have a couple of questions.
After three items have been added to the cart, does EVERY item after that get the $1 discount? Or do you just want to give a $1 discount for every three eligible items in the cart -- ie - discounts applied only at three items, then six items, then nine items, etc?
