I just had a customer and she tapped the wrong card, so I tried to issue her a refund at the square stand, but it failed with a message "update required Interac 2860"
This is the first time I've seen this message. I updated my Square for retail app immediately while she waited and it STILL came back with the same message.
Now what??
Hello @SongbirdFlorals, I am sorry you are having issues refunding your customer, and I am happy to help. Are you able to delete and reinstall the retail app? Can you provide a screenshot of the error message? Is the reader showing as connected in settings under hardware?
Everything is connected. I use the stand as my reader.
I will try reinstalling the app after close of business today as can't do that while open.
Also, can't take a screenshot as the customer left after not being able to receive her refund.
