Can I do square appointments and retail in one website?

I am newer to square and have a booking site for my spa on appointments that has been made and functional for the last 7 months. My struggle is I would like to do or list some online retail items that I have for sale in the spa that people can reserve, then come in to purchase in the spa. Can someone please help with what I have to do, is it even dooable, or do I have to make another website?

Hi @jazzime,

Thanks for your post, and welcome to the Community!

At this time, the ability for customers to add items to an appointment during the Online booking flow, would be considered a feature request.

However, you do have the option of creating a Square Online site where you can both sell your items, and promote your services. With a Square Online site, the checkout flow for items would be separate to appointments booking flow, but it’s not necessary to create two independent sites. You’d simply add a link for your booking page to the Square Online site under a tab ‘Book Now’, for example.

You can learn more about getting started with Square Online here

Then, once you’ve created your site, you can add your booking page by following the steps below:

  1. From your Square Online site editor, select +Add > Page.

  2. Select Appointments and choose to add the page to your navigation menu.

  3. Customise your new online booking page as needed. Learn more about designing and customising your Square Online site.

  4. Publish your site to see the changes live.

As you’ll see below, I’ve added a Booking page, and a Shop All page to my demo site.

This is how the live site would look from a customers perspective.

I hope this helps somewhat towards what you’re trying to achieve. If you have any questions, just let me know.
