Is it possible to block specific dates so staff can't request those dates off? If so, how do you do this?
Hi @lostdruid Currently, this is not possible. All you can do is give employees advance notification (either via texts or Team Messaging) of blackout dates and then if they request time off for one of those, you can deny that request.
If you want to, you can head to the Ideate Board and submit a feature request. That will start an evaluation process for a future product roadmap. If you do this, please post a link to that request here. I, for one, will definitely support that request as a fellow seller.
This should be made possible without a ideate board submittal. This is a basic function of any time off request system, so what are we paying for? It was already stated that this was being asked for as far back as 2013. Come on now.
This would be a really helpful feature since we have limited staff and once I have a few requests off for a date, I cannot accept anymore. Or it might be a holiday where I can't accept any requests. It looks like this has been requested from as far back as 2013 from other users.
