Best Practices for subscription and reward program for a pizzeria

We're currently working with a new client in the pizza industry and are exploring subscription and reward program options for them. Are there any tools, strategies, or specific approaches that you've found particularly effective in similar situations?

Hey @wiseanttech_m.  Before answering, it would be good to clarify exactly what you are asking.  Here’s why.  Square has a couple of features that could work for you.

Subscriptions is one, which allows us to sell a package of (say) 12 pizzas every quarter for the price of 10.  However, currently this particular feature is only set up to work with products that are shipped, and it does not work well with in-person fulfillment.  In my ice cream shop, I am very interested in setting up such a thing to drive repeat customers with a frozen treat subscription.  But that capability does not yet exist.

The other feature is Square’s Loyalty program, which I also use.  In this case, customers earn points for purchases/visits and then they can redeem rewards when they are eligible to do so.  If this is what you are looking to set up, rather than subscriptions, I can definitely help you out.  I used to be a Loyalty program skeptic but after a few years, I’m definitely a convert and have lots of thoughts and ideas.

Let me know.  I just don’t want to overwhelm you with a bunch of stuff that doesn’t apply if your heart is set on subscriptions.
