BULK EDIT ISSUE: "Something went wrong. Review the updates and try again."

Wow! I love when I am working on a huge project getting my inventory organized and I'm using the bulk edit feature and then it randomly decides it doesn't want to work anymore! I was doing this non-stop so there was absolutely nothing that I changed. It keeps saying "Something went wrong. Review the updates and try again." THERE ARE NO UPDATES TO REVIEW.

I was updating them by vendor so it was NOT thousands of items at once. It is still infuriating that I used this feature and typed out EVERYTHING for 25+ items and then it just can't be saved. I tried all kinds of different items. All say the same thing. I have tried all troubleshooting measures. Nothing. Can't wait to hear what support says my issue is. Back to downloading and editing and re-uploading spreadsheets. What a waste of time.

If you are going to comment try this...I already did. Changed nothing.

Immediate Workarounds
  1. Break Down Updates

    • Edit smaller batches (100-200 items)
    • Work by category
    • Track which groups succeed/fail
  2. Export/Import Method
    1. Items Library →
      Export →
      Make changes in spreadsheet →
      Import in smaller batches
Troubleshooting Steps
  1. Common Error Triggers

    • Special characters (✓, ™, ®, ©)
    • Hidden spaces at start/end
    • Formatting issues
    • Duplicate SKUs
    • Invalid price formats
  2. Systematic Check

    1.

      Export catalog →
      Check for:
      - Extra spaces
      - Special characters
      - Consistent formatting
      - Required fields
