I want to add extras to an item ie Nachos is the base item and I want to add a choice of cheese, tomato, salsa etc. with a price attached to each extra which then adds to the base price.

HI @BalCC ,

Create a set of modifiers - for instance call it Nacho modifiers. You then include all your options, and you can attach a price to each of these. Once this is done you add the modifier set to the item.

In the item itself, if you turn off 'Automatically Add Item to Check' then the modifiers applied to the item will appear as an additional step, other wise you would need to edit the item to choose the modifiers after the fact.

Modifiers can have a $0 value if its just an option.

For instance we have a cheeseboard with 3 cheeses, which is chosen from 5, so we list the 5 cheeses as options with a $0 price value, it's up to the operator to choose the requested cheeses.

Multiple modifiers can be applied to 1 item, and also modifiers can apply to multiple items so if you are smart about how you create them you can minimise the number of modifiers and make management of these easier going forward.
