AGE RESTRICTION FOR ALCOHOL Square for Restaurant

It seems that square retail has a age restriction item.  I believe that Age restriction for alcohol is extremely important feature for Square for Restaurant.  

It seems other threads says there is no ETA on this, but if many of restaurants ask for this hopefully DEVS will listen.

Restaurants could loose their alcohol license/sales just by mistake from our employees.  A feature like this where the POS will require the cashier/server to scan the id or at least a reminder that says "Is customer over 21y old" would greatly help in making sure the restaurant is properly id its customers.

You’re absolutely right—having an age restriction feature for alcohol sales in Square for Restaurants would be a game-changer! Mistakes can happen, and something as simple as a required ID scan or an age verification prompt could go a long way in helping restaurants stay compliant and protect their liquor licenses.

I’d recommend submitting this as a feature request through Square’s official channels. The more businesses that voice the need for this, the higher the chances the dev team will prioritize it. If enough restaurants push for it, there’s a good chance Square will work on bringing it to the table (pun intended! 😉).
