The title says it all. We have not activated 2-step authentication, but one team member is being asked to verify via app. How do I turn this off, or give them a code to authenticate?
my new employees sometimes get 2SA confused for the code I give them as an employee. Maybe that's too simple, but sometimes you simply have to make sure the screen is plugged in. I'd first verify they have the correct code you made for them before spending too much time chasing down an issue that may not exist.

Just want to clarify is it asking for a 4 digit employee passcode? Or when they sign in it makes them provide a 6 digit code?
To disable the team 2 step verification you can do so from the dashboard :
Account & Settings > Personal Information > Toggle off "Require 2-step verification for team members."
