question re: square reader

I'm very new to Square and would like to order a Square Reader.  Does it come with a charger, or do I have to get the dock in order to charge it?

The Square Reader for contactless and chip charges via micro USB and yes, a cord is included (but not the block to plug it in).  I have two Readers, one in our studio and one for portable use.  For the studio I have it sitting on the counter in the Dock for Square Reader which keeps it charged all the time.
