hidden categories visible on website

Hi, i have subcategories that are hidden yet are showing up in my published website, ie. Farmer's Market Collars, which is a sub-category of Collars is set to hidden, but is showing as a category on my published website. This is just one of many that are set to hidden but are visible.

Did you make any recent updates? When I visit your site, I’m not seeing “Farmer’s Market Collars.”

Hi Maya, yes, I altogether deleted some of the categories that were hidden on the website, but still showing up (as subcategories in the collar section). 

The issue still persists though - within the Bandana category, there are several "hidden" subcategories that are showing on the live website, including:

Ranger Collection Bandanas

Snoods

Frayed Edge Bandanas

Very Merry Bandanas.

When I clicked on the link, I got an error message saying the website is not available.  Did you unpublish?

I did unpublish yesterday in an effort to resolve the issue, but published again shortly thereafter, and have published more than once today after making updates.

I can access the website without an error message

Hey @crewbydesi  — thanks so much for your patience. I’m still not quite seeing what you’re seeing. Do you mind sharing some screenshots? Right now, I only see Merry Berry ~ Bandana on your site. 

I really want to get to the bottom of this and have a clear understanding of what’s happening. Thank you!

Hi! I'm not sure why you are not seeing my full website, I have over 600 items. 

I don't believe I am able to upload screenshot to this chat.

All of the categories that were showing up despite being hidden have been deleted - one is still showing though (despite not actually existing- snoods, which is a subcategory of bandanas.

Oh, i wasnt signed it, so it wasnt giving me an option to upload photos.

Snoods - a subcategory of bandanas does not actually exist - it has been deleted to try to resolve the issue of hidden categories still showing up.

Hey @crewbydesi — thank you for waiting!

Since your site is a Weebly site using the New Editor (Prime), items and categories are managed through the Weebly Dashboard under Items > Site Items and Site Categories. When I click into Categories on my end, I don’t see them showing as hidden. If you’re still running into issues after selecting “hidden,” please let me know and I’ll take another look.
