combining accounts

I have had a weebly website years before square partnered with them.  I used the same email as my square account when I signed up.  I would like to join the two accounts.  Weebly offer a much better website than square offers me.  If I cancel the square account I loose that info.. Can this be done and how.

You can use the same email address for both accounts, @pdrandol.

If you prefer to continue using the older website builder, you'll need to continue logging into your old Weebly account to edit your website. You won't be able to benefit from the sync features and other added features available on the Square Online Store, but you'll be able to continue using the editor you have been using.

When you say that you want to "join the two accounts", it sounds like you may be referring to turning on Square Sync, is that right?

No, I literally have my square account that when I clicked on see my website took me over to Weebly to set it up and was so confusing in the beginning, I just left it and kept my weebly account, they are on the same page when I log in as a different website created by me but when I log into square it brings up the free account and not my paid account, which gives me a whole lot of possibilities to create a nice website, which the free site does not.  I would like all the info on the free site to come over to the paid site so when I go out to square it takes me directly to the paid site and not lose the old info from customers and square.  I can leave them separately but why can't I combine the 2 together.

Just to clarify, it sounds like you're asking if it is it possible for your current Weebly website to be linked to your new Square account so that you can access and edit your classic Weebly website from within your Square Dashboard instead of logging in to Weebly. Is that right, @pdrandol?

If so, it is not possible to edit a classic Weebly website from within the Square Dashboard. If you would like to be able to log in through Square and utilize the robust Square Sync feature, you'll need to create a brand new Square Online Store website.

That is not what I was asking, I had a separate Weebly  account and a separate square account previous to your merger.  When I tested the square website it combined both accounts because I used the same email on both accounts at the time. I can and do edit both through square but would like to get them separate, but was finally it couldn't be separated out.  It's just a pain sometimes because my square account keeps coming up first in my editor and I have to change to my proffessional account to edit.  I just want to merge the 2 accounts into 1 account.

As of right now, we do not have a way to transfer your Weebly website so that it is accessible through your Square Dashboard, as these website platforms are rather different from one another. I've moved your post to this thread where someone else had a similar question, and I provided some context that should be helpful for you.

I hope this helps clarify things for you, @chomp
