category navigation disappears

I have a square online store that I am building.  I have created 3 categories - Classes - Kits - Beads.

I have sub categories under each.  Under beads I have a subcategory Delicas and under Delicas I have a sub category 11/0.

After publishing - if I click on Classes or the subcategories under it or Kits and its subcategories - the navigation to the left has all 3 categories.

The mystery is when I click on the subcategory Delicas under Beads - I lose the navigation to all 3 main categories to the left - It only says Delicas with a sub category 11/0.

What am I doing wrong?

Hm, I went to your site and saw the same behavior, @snowygrey 🦉 

I've gone ahead and flagged this up to our team to confirm whether this is how this is supposed to work!

This is working as intended, @snowygrey!

The item page would show the full pagination if you want to go all the way out of the sub sub categories

You may consider using navigation links to categories to assist as well, if you would like those categories to remain visible at the top of your site. You can learn more about how to do this by heading over to this page.

But the item page is NOT showing the full pagination - there is no way to get back unless I use the browser back button.

The user loses the ability to click on my page and back up unless they use the browser buttons

Correct - they will need to use the back function in order to see the sidebar menu that appeared on the previous page.

Sorry - yes the item page has the pagination.  But if they are sitting on the page I took a picture of - they have no navigation.  That doesn’t seem logical

I went to the navigation links section on each page and all categories are showing up there - so according to the article they should show up but they are not.  I did not have to add them - they were already there when I went in to the navigation section.
