Why is the featured items carousel glitchy?

I have a featured items section on the home page of my website and the carousel option is enabled. The problem is that the carousel is not seamless. When it gets to the end of the items it resets and blinks black before resuming. Ideally I’d like a seamless carousel that goes on forever without resetting as it does now.

I just took a look and it appears the carousel is smoothly transitioning on my side. Which item is the last item listed? I can take another look in case I missed something.

Have you tried to view your website from any other devices, by chance?

It appears to only act wonky on the mobile site. Desktop seems to function properly. It’s not a big deal I was just seeing if there was anything I could do to fix it. I appreciate your help!

I heard back from our eCommerce team and they said they too are seeing the momentary flash, but only on mobile. They said it looks like the system is just restarting the loop again, and unfortunately it is not something they have a fix for, since the carousel itself is still functioning as it should.

They did recommended adding a Feature Request onto our Ideate platform, if you would like! Ideate is a great place to discuss and generate new ideas and improvements for Square products.

If you have a moment, feel free to skim through the other posts on Ideate and see if other sellers are experiencing the same momentary flash on their websites. Increased interest on a post can lead to a higher chance of our product managers taking notice.
