Why have all of the items on our online website disappeared?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Hi! it seems all of the products in our store have disappeared overnight, help please!

Things were running smoothly but now all of our products have gone from the store and we don't know how or what has happened. Your help is much appreciated 🙂

Sorry for the delay getting back to you here, @all_the_flowers.

I'm looking at your site now, and I'm able to see items available for sale on your Shop page. Was there anything in particular you tried that brought these items back?

If you're still experiencing issues, please let me know!

We reset the website to default and started again. 
it was the only way we could get things running again. 
it appears if you try to add a scrolling text to a page it wipes all your store items and you have no way of re adding them with out resetting the site.

That's certainly the first time I've seen this issue come up, @all_the_flowers!

We can definitely take a closer look at this with you. Could you let us know the exact steps you took when making the change, so we can try to replicate the behaviour on our end?

For example, did you add the scrolling text section from your Shop All page or from another page on your site? And was that when you noticed the items disappeared?

If we're able to reproduce the issue, we’ll escalate it to our engineering team for a deeper look — that definitely doesn’t sound like expected behaviour!
