Why do we need so many vape shops on one street alone. Just wondering after going for a drive this morning. Along one street I could see 6 different stores all within a few blocks of two high schools. Is this a thing in other cities in Canada?
When weed was legalized we had 3 shops within a block of each other in my parents' neighbourhood. It's dependent both on the area itself (some places will have the right clients for that product) and sometimes just that it's a new-ish business idea and lots of people get excited about it.
Give it a year or two and the best shops will survive and the bad ones will die off. (I hope.) I'm not a vape person so I don't understand the desire to puff smoke of any kind anyway...
Yes exactly weed legalization was part of it for sure. It just seems wrong to have these stores so close to elementary and high schools. I guess kids like to smell of grape oil vapour..gross in my books. This is just all a a question of why. Maybe better than smoking cigarettes I guess. I do not smoke any kind of smoke-able product of any kind.
