Wholesale (non taxed) web orders.

I have wholesale and retail customers. How can my wholesale customers place an order online without being taxed, while still taxing my retail customers? Is there a way they can enter tax id#'s for tax exemption on orders?

Tax exemption can be set on an item level, but not a customer level unfortunately. Both Wholesale and retail customers will either pay tax or none at all.
