You used to be able to go into each customers order and small window would open. There you could print a packing list for the customer. It had a small strip at the top with the return address and customer address that you could clip off and use for mailing. We're a small non-profit and we recently were forced to migrate to the new Weebly website where that option is now gone. I just printed from there in July. Not having this option is a huge inconvenience and will take up a lot of time from our small volunteer group.
Has it moved? And if not, what "upgrade" option brings it back?
We do not want to print a shipping label through a particular shipper. We charge a flat rate fee. We then take our packages to the Post Office to mail where they do the postage part for us.
Thanks.
Hey @friendsofmadacc!✨
Thanks for posting in the Seller Community.
While the feature we have now isn't quite the same as the feature you're referring to from our legacy Online Store, if you click on an order in Orders there’s a Print Order button at the top. That will print the order with the same info: list of items, customer contact information, etc. Hopefully that helps! Thanks for surfacing this.
I did try that and I don't see that option. I have a few options under "Actions" (see pic) and then "mark in progress". Does that have to be selected first so the print option appears?
Is that from the Orders section of the Dashboard? Or from the Square Online section?
Let me know!
Starting from the dashboard I went into "orders", and then clicked a specific person's order. Those options were in the upper right.
Can you try going to Square Dashboard > Online > Orders @friendsofmadacc?
The only option there is to "print shipping label" and when I click on that it says I need to upgrade.
Thanks, I see it now. It doesn't have the address and return address in a "cut away" strip at the top like it did before. We'll have to print out 2 receipts for each person (just to cut away the the mailing address part) and use return address labels now. Seems like a waste and it takes so many more steps to do the same thing you could set before. It's frustrating.
