It seems odd to me that this isn't already an option. I know the documentation says it isn't currently available but I would like to know when it can be expected. My business needs to find a solution for this and needs to know if Square plans to fix it or if alternatives must be examined.

I am running into this same issue: the only option is Shipment for subscriptions. What is the plan to allow subscriptions to have other fulfillment options (Such as 'in-store' pickup)? I am a bit shocked that on all other products and sale items, you can choose any type (Delivery, In-Store, or Shipment) but only 1 for subscriptions.
