Our Square website [www.wittyums.com] has down been at least a week (possibly longer) and is also experiencing SSL issues (first image). The site has been live since February 2026.
Square support told me to contact NameCheap (domain provider) since they suspected it was an A Record issue—it appeared there were two A records listed (second image). NameCheap told me to delete a URL Redirect Record that was in the DNS, which I did last week (May 19th).
Our DNS appears to now be set up correctly and it's been well over 48 hours since the updates to the DNS were made. Website still isn't loading on various devices and browsers, and if I attempt to visit the site on my laptop through Chrome, I'm seeing the "Not Secure" message.
Lastly, our domain refuses to connect to the website in the backend (third image), so I'm wondering if that's causing all our issues. Any help, advice, tips would be greatly appreciated!
Hi! What does your DNS records show??
and also what hosting are you using?
We had this issue in the past.
It did wind up being an issue (for us) with Square.
What I would recommend for everyone is to have two website addresses and have your "extra" point to your main. We were able to use our secondary address while the primary DNS issue was sorted.
