This lets customers:
Book a time
Choose a service (oil change, synthetic, etc.)
Enter their info
Pay or prepay
Square even gives you a free booking website where customers can schedule 24/7 and it syncs with your calendar.
I don't use Square appointments, so below is a copy/paste of how to set it up.
How to structure it
1️⃣ Create services (not items)
Set up things like:
Basic Oil Change
Full Synthetic
Diesel Service
Add-ons (filter, tire rotation, etc.)
You can define:
Price
Duration
Travel buffer time
2️⃣ Turn on online booking
Go to:
Dashboard → Appointments → Online Booking
This creates a simple site where:
Customers pick a service
Choose a time
Book instantly
You can also require deposits or full payment upfront.
3️⃣ Customize your website
You can build a full Square site or keep it simple:
Homepage (what you do, service area)
“Book Now” button
Service list
Square even lets you create a full website with booking + payments all in one place.
🚗 Mobile business tips (important)
Since you’re mobile:
Put service area in description (ex: “within 25 miles”)
Add custom fields like:
Vehicle type
Address
Preferred time
Add buffer time between jobs so you’re not stacked
