I’m experiencing inconsistent behavior when publishing updates to my website. After making changes and saving them, the live site does not always update immediately. In several cases, it has taken more than a full day for changes to appear, and occasionally an update will appear to publish and then later revert or undo itself without explanation.
Everything shows as saved on my end, so I’m unsure why the updates aren’t flowing through reliably. It feels like there are small glitches or delays in the publishing process, and I’d like help understanding what’s causing this and how to prevent it.
Hello, this is something that does happen with the websites. I have talked with Square about it before and their answer is always to wait 24 hours for updates to show. It has gotten better over time but is still not perfect.
Some things you can double check:
1. Your Browser may not be updating - you can clear out your browser cache and do a hard refresh; or you can check it from your phone to see if your page is updating
2. Make sure you only have one tab of the Editor open. Having multiple tabs open can cause it some problems.
3. If you are using forms like Jotform or galleries they can fail to deploy correctly. If one section keeps reverting: Delete that block, re-add it fresh and then republish
