My vendors are all supplying me with WEBP Images for products I sell. I have to open Photoshop and convert all to JPG. Is there any plan to support WEBP images? I am spending a ton of time converting instead of selling. Please update software to allow WEBP images.

Thanks for the response...but...I already do batch processing with Photoshop. All the suggestions you made just take away from my main function of selling products. My vendors wont supply alternate formats and WEBP has become one of the most prevalent formats out there. I have thousands of products and converting is a HUGE time suck.
Please, Square, for once, make my life easier not harder.

Hey @StuartC, jumping in for summer! Thank you for your response, and I completely understand how converting formats can be a time-consuming process, especially with thousands of products. Currently, I don’t have any updates on my end to address this directly. However, I recommend submitting a feature request through the Ideate board, where you can share this valuable feedback with the team.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing, and if you need anything else, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
@StuartC Photoroom will convert webP images and you can batch convert. I use it everyday to convert webp images, remove backgrounds and resize photos.
if you only need to convert the webp to a jpeg and nothing else and you have a MacBook, put them all in one folder, select all, then click on convert image. A context box will pop up and you can select jpeg or png file and you can choose original size, small, medium or large size.
If you are wondering why Square currently does not accept webp files here is their explanation.
Square’s image delivery system (CDN and optimization tools) currently prioritizes compatibility across all browsers, and some legacy systems still don’t fully support WebP, so they likely default to more universally accepted formats.
Thank you so much for stepping in @rtfulk. This is really helpful—great insight!
