Trying to set up shipping for multiple items.

1st question) I seem to be having trouble with my shipping profiles. I’m trying to do $20 for one bucket, $27.50 for 2 buckets, $35 for 3 buckets, $40 for 4 buckets and $45 for 5 buckets. The range keeps changing on me and wont seem to let me add shipping in the increments I’d like to use? Not sure how to get around that…

2nd Question) I had an order where a customer ordered several items from several different categories and it tabulated the shipping as if I was shipping everything individually? How do I set it up to allow for shipping to be calculated with items from different categories that could possibly be shipped together in the same box?

Thank you for your help

Shipping profiles can definitely get tricky, especially when you’re trying to create custom increments. For your first question, it usually works best to build the profile using clear quantity or weight ranges, but sometimes the ranges auto-adjust depending on how the previous tier was entered, so double-check that each range starts exactly where the last one ends without overlap.

For your second question, if items are pulling shipping separately, it’s often because they’re assigned to different shipping groups or profiles, so Square treats them as separate shipments. If the items can ship together in one box, they generally need to live under the same shipping profile so the system can combine them more accurately. If it still keeps calculating incorrectly, it may be worth contacting Square's customer support at 1-855-700-6000 because they can review how the profiles are currently built and spot where the conflict is happening.
