Trouble using card readers at some outside markets and vendor shows any idea how to fix that?

I use square at vendor shows and farmers markets throughout the year. I love how it helps keep track of my inventory and which sales are cash or card. My problem is it doesn’t always work. Is there a way to be able to use it even though you may not have WiFi?

Hello @Ama2 and thanks for your post. I'm sorry you're having trouble with your Square connections. You are able to take payments by entering an "offline" mode. When you take a payment in offline mode, payments and inventory will update when you are able to reconnect via the internet or wifi. There are some risks associated with taking payments like this because you are not getting a "live" approval on the CC. For more info on offline payments check out this post.
