I've just signed up (today) for online store and filling out items etc for my business, and started populating items ... and I've just realised the ABN is from when my business was a sole trader. I now have a different ABN and it seems I cannot change that.
I understand the only way is to start completely over again with a new account (due to different ABN) but I have just prepaid a years worth of professional account literally today. It seems I cannot cancel that either and get a refund.
So is there a way to transfer the professional account to a new square account, or at least get a refund for the prepaid professional account?

I understand how frustrating it is to get started with your site and then realise there's a mistake like an old ABN. Our support team can definitely help here and request a refund for the subscription you just paid for. While refunds for services can't be issued via the community forum, you can call support on 1800 760 137 to receive a refund. Keep in mind that today is a national holiday so give us a ring tomorrow, or on Monday.
Okay thanks. So it would be a refund, not a transfer? I'd really like to use today to get my store all setup, so if I pay for a second subscription (for my new site) today I'll be able to get the old one refunded no problems?
Right now, transfers aren't possible, so you would have to create a new account with the ABN you'd like to use going forward, @DionM.
Hi yeah I've done that already. Just wanted to check if I should pay for a second website today, on the assumption I'll be able to get the 12mth prepaid subscription from the old account refunded.
