The same modifier shows up a radio button in some items and dropdown in other items

I am trying to get our menu online... I have noticed the following issues with modifiers... For example the "Plate/Sandwich" modifier will show up as radio buttons on some menu options and as a dropdown on others.  See the pics...

Any ideas?

@egmorgan It is one of 2 things, but check and see how you have your customization set up for the modifier.  I see you have required modifier on the 2 set option and only 1 allowed on the multi-set option.  Add another option to plate/sandwich like plate/sandwich/test and see if it behaves the same.  If it does, then that is what delineates how it behaves.  Typically variations always show up as drop down.  You can specify modifier behavior at the item level, or at the modifier level.

Yes, it is a big complicated, but this link will help:

One thing I like to do is use preselected modifiers as auto-upsells.  I will preselect, in your case, "Plate" and limit it to 1 required choice, the customer can change it, but lots of times they will just buy the more expensive.  Square is updating modifiers as we are finally getting some behaviors we have asked for.
