The order of my photos for items online is not being shown

Hi,

I have recently uploaded 6 new items into my online store, each of which have 3 or more photos. I have chosen the order of the photos and selected one as the 'primary image' - however when I look at the actual site this order is not being shown and the incorrect photo is displayed as the primary one.

 

I'm not doing anything differently to what I normally do!

Hi, @Tailwinds, thanks for reaching out to us with your query.

I've just hopped onto my own Square Online site to see if I could replicate this behaviour. While I wasn't able to replicate the issue you're seeing with the order of the images added to your items, I can confirm that each item was only able to display a maximum of four images (including the primary image).

There doesn't appear to be any mention of a product image limitation when referring to the Square Online Product Images support article, so this is something I'll be passing directly on to our Ecom Team to ensure we specify this in our online guide. What I'll get you to try though, is to review each item you added and check to make sure you have a total of four images per item (one primary image, and three additional product images). Then, when you rearrange their order and save the changes, let me know if the new order is now displaying correctly on your live site.

I'll keep a lookout for your reply here.
