Tagline appearing as H6 header not H1

On my home page, in the main banner Im trying to get it as a H1 header, I have select style “Title 1” but when do audit it still shows as a H6 header even though I have re published , deleted text and replaced. I am on a free plan so don’t know if it because of that or a glitch

Thanks for sending this through, @LivCraft! Apologies for the delay on our side!

After digging into this further, I can confirm that what we’re seeing is actually expected behavior. The two sections of text are set up as different categories in the Square Online Site Editor. While I can’t explain exactly why they’re configured this way, I can clarify what this means for you.

The "Handcrafted with love" text is actually set up as a Tagline, not a Headline, which is why it's only showing as an H6 tag after applying 'Title 1'. Meanwhile, the "Transform your space" text is being used as the Headline, which is why it’s showing as an H1 tag on your site.

Since these are the two most important pieces of text in terms of searchability, you might be able to work with the current template setup to leverage search optimisation. Consider moving your tagline text into the headline section, and your headline text into the section below. This might help get closer to your desired result.

It’s definitely worth experimenting with these adjustments to see if you can improve the setup for your site’s searchability and layout!

Hi @LivCraft, thanks for reaching out with your question!

You're right! In Square Online, changing a section header from H6 to H1 usually involves selecting the 'Title 1' style in the content settings for that section.

To assist us in investigating further, could you please provide the URL of your site along with the name of the heading you're trying to update to H1? Thank you!
