Stupidly Slow Loads (>30sec / page)

My site (miatathings.square.site) is incredibly slow loading. It takes 30 seconds per page, even for pages with only a couple of items. Other than moving to a different provider, how do I fix it? I am currently on the free version so layout changes aren't viable. Looking at analytics on the page I see

1ms Loading

633ms scripting

1062 ms rendering

1087 ms Painting

1268 ms System

28582 idle

32632ms Total

28 seconds of idle time

Hi @kenweise i just spent a few minutes navigating your site. Home page loaded is less than 2 seconds. Other pages 1-2 seconds. I’ve tried it one three different WiFi networks, including 4G and 5G. All are quite speedy in my experience.

I’m wondering if you are having network issues especially with the idle time. Usually long idle times are caused by thins like high res images, resources not being found, site plug ins causing bottlenecks. But regardless, even as a first time visitor to your site I noticed no lag time at all.

I have done tried on many phones, wifi, 5G, LTE, multiple phones, and had the same issue. That's why I came here. I am glad to hear it is loading fast for you though. Maybe my customers won't walk away...
