Square taking away all email customizations and "from" address starting Aug '25

Square Online will make it impossible to customize online order email confirmations and those emails will be sent from a generic Square "from" address (no longer possible for the "from" address" to be our company or show any signs its from us). Not only is this incredibly out of touch (why does Square think online order email customization isn't a necessity in this day and age?) but it leaves our customers confused and frustrated -- they get emails with incomplete/inaccurate info plus those emails come from a random Square address with no sign that it's from our company (and so those emails get sequestered/deleted by spam filters).

Square says they're taking away these vital and basic parts of doing business online in August '25. But they have provided no examples of what our emails to our customers will start looking like once they take away these services, so we can't even plan or warn customers.

We've reached out to Square multiple times over the last month about this and nobody has responded. (That's another huge issue Square has: submit a support ticket and get an automated email that says they'll be in touch within 1-3 business days...except that never happens...we wait weeks and weeks with zero reply...yup, checking our spam filters and following up again and again with Square. "Support" is completely nonexistent with Square.)

So what's everybody ditching Square Online for? What services do y'all recommend instead? Given how horrible "support" is and now the lack of email customization and "from" address, Square Online is one of the worst and outdated e-commerce options out there. We're looking to move all three of our Square Online stores to other providers and looking for your suggestions.

I use Wix.  I left Square a long time ago.
